Be part of the only multidisciplinary trauma society in Australia and New Zealand. Membership Inclusions:

  • Inspect Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society documents, including the minutes of general meetings.
  • Be given information about the organisationโ€™s annual finances and other activities at or before each annual general meeting.
  • Ask questions about the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society at a general meeting.
  • Provided a certain number of members agree, request the directors call a meeting, call meetings themselves, propose resolutions or make statements.
  • Receive notice of general meetings and attend general meetings.
  • Voting rights:
    โ—‹Vote on resolutions, or appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf at general meetings, and
    โ—‹Vote on a resolution to appoint or remove a director.

Member Responsibilities:

  • Under the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society constitution, members have an obligation to pay the guarantee (if required) if the company winds up while they are a member or less than 12 months after they stopped being a member. This is included within the Joining Fee of the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society and reserved in a dedicated account.
  • Members have a crucial role in ensuring that the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society, and therefore the Board and members, conduct themselves in a way that is acceptable to the purpose(s) of the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society.
  • Provide and maintain current information for the role of the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society membership and, within 30 days of any change to their details or standing, notify the Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society.
  • Automatic billing and renewal of membership subscriptions will occur at the conclusion of the purchased duration. Members can opt out of their monthly or yearly subscription at any time via the My Account Page.
